Please help us spread the word about ADOA and help us fund the research for a cure!

Hi Everyone! My name is Wayne Richardson and I was diagnosed with Autosomal Dominant Optic Atrophy when I was 17, after an issue with my sight. Now, as an adult, ADOA has deteriorated 50% of my vision and it's only been until recently that I was able to find a way to help fight against this disease.

ADOA can have a huge impact on one's everyday life. I've worked in the banking sector for over 15 years but this is becoming increasingly harder due to the deterioration of my sight. I've recently had my first child, Charlie, so it has become even more imperative that I find a cure so I can give him everything he will need growing up.

I'm tirelessly searching for a treatment and will be actively raising funds and awareness through various events over the coming years. I look forward to working with the ADOA Association to help fund the medical research for a cure!
